Hadassah Burk
Ms. Hadassah, originally from Michigan City, Indiana has been dancing for over 20 years and is trained in Vaganova Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Modern, Character, and Jazz.
Her ballet training is extensive, highlighted by tutelage from Madam Elizabeth Boitsov & Boitsov Classical Ballet (a former principal dancer from the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia), and includes further training credits including studios such as Southold Dance Theater (South Bend), Works in Motion Dance Company (Laporte, Indiana), Ballet Chicago, Ruth Paige Foundation, and summer intensives with the Grand Rapids Ballet and Ballet Magnificat.
Hadassah began her teaching career at the age of 16 under Lindsay Gogel and Ashley Stout at Works in Motion Dance Company and received her teaching certification from Dance and Gym USA and most recently served as the Director of Pointe at The Children’s Ballet in Danville, Indiana.
Throughout her professional career Hadassah has taken various classes led by dancers such as Travis and Denise Wall, Ray Leeper, Mark Meismer and Kim McSwain among others. She also participated in master classes led by cast members of the touring Broadway productions of Beauty and the Beast, Wicked and Chicago and was chosen as the ‘Broadway Bound’ student by the Beauty and the Beast and Wicked cast members.
Outside of dance Hadassah has been married to her husband Elijah for 9+ years and they have four young children. As a family they enjoy participating in church activities, consuming copious amounts of coffee, and anything Disney related.
Hadassah’s hope for NCDC is that it can become known as a quality ballet and dance school in the area where the culture and teaching philosophy rooted in Christian values and principles not only draws people in but develops the art and love for dance in our students and positively contributing to their mental, emotional, and physical health while spreading the love of Christ and dance throughout the community.
Sarah KENDALL
Miss Sarah has been dancing since the age of 3, having begun her training in The Master’s Study and finishing her high school training and dance career with The Children’s Ballet (Danville, IN). During her training she studied Pointe, Ballet, Modern and Character under the instruction of Donna Matelli, Deni Jacks, Heidi Eads-Jones, Robyn Wenrich, Melanie Schreiber, and Mandy Mulligan.
Miss Sarah has also been professionally trained in beginner ballroom including Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot.
Miss Sarah says her love for teaching stems from the interactions with her previous instructors and their focus on instilling their love of dance in her. She is excited to share her joy and hopes to instill this love in her students and see the joy and excitement grow as they develop their skill.
Olivia Rhodes
Ms. Olivia has had a passion for ministering through dance for her entire live and has been dancing for 15 years with almost 10 years of experience in a competition environment.
Olivia is formally trained in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Acro, and Ballet and is a skilled Choreographer who take joy in the process of creating and perfecting routines and teaching them to her students.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys reading and hanging out with her dog, Jazzy.
Tess Jones
Ms. Tess taught her first tumbling class almost 25 years ago! She spent time teaching lessons to children from age 18-months through high school in gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, and dance at local gyms in Fort Wayne, Indiana while pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
Following graduation, she continued to teach gymnastics at InterActive Academy in Zionsville while teaching elementary school full time (2nd grade is her favorite and teaching children to read is another passion). Tess taught for 10 years at the Elementary level and continues to tutor students and participate in her daughters’ local homeschool coops.
Tess currently resides in Avon with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys serving with her church, spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and all things sourdough.
Being able to share her love of tumbling in a Christ-Centered environment is a blessing she has been praying for, and God’s timing is always perfect.

Julia Koelling
Ms. Julia was raised in Hendricks County and began her dance training at The Children’s Ballet in Danville, Indiana, at the age of three. Over the course of 14 years, she studied ballet, pointe, modern, and character under the instruction of Deni Jacks, Heidi Eads-Jones, Robyn Wenrich, Melanie Schreiber, Mandy Mulligan, Haley Altman-Cipot, and Hadassah Burk.
During her training, Ms. Julia performed several notable roles, including the Queen/Evil Queen in The Golden Cuckoo and a soloist role as The Dancing Lady in A Magical Lesson. She also appeared in two productions of The Nutcracker in collaboration with the Hendricks County Symphony Orchestra and was honored to perform the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in her final year with the company.
After completing her training at The Children’s Ballet, Ms. Julia continued her dance education through the Indiana University Ballet Program while attending Indiana University–Bloomington.
Professionally, Ms. Julia currently works as a school nurse in Zionsville. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremiah, and their two children (soon to be three).
Together, they love watching movies, trying new restaurants, and playing board games.
Ms. Julia is thrilled to be joining the NCDC family starting in the Summer Session.
Olivia Abbott
Ms. Olivia has been dancing for more than 10 years with her prior training coming from The Children’s Ballet. She is training in Classical Ballet & Pointe and recently added Lyrical to her education credits.
Outside of ballet Olivia enjoys photography and spending time with her sister at the barn.

audrey hawk
Ms. Audrey is beginner her 8th year of ballet training, her second with NCDC, with all prior training from The Children’s Ballet! She also recently added Pointe and Lyrical to her education credits.
In addition to dance, Audrey also enjoys cheerleading as a member of the Danville High School cheer team. She is an active member of her church youth group, and enjoys shopping, spending time with her friends and family, and snuggling with her dog.
Audrey loves the opportunity to share her love of dance with younger dancers and is excited to be a part of helping them grow and develop their skills!

isla heller
Ms. Isla is a Sophomore at Northview Christian Academy and she has been training in Ballet for more than 10 years.
Isla enjoys participating in youth group activities in her church and singing for the worship team. She also loves being outdoors (especially at the beach), reading, and spending time with friends.

Paige Hann
Ms. Paige is a freshman at The Master’s Study and has been dancing for nine years with her prior training come from Dance Unlimited in Pittsboro.
Paige loves sharing her passion for dance with others and is excited to join the NCDC team as a student assistant this season and is looking forward to helping younger students learn, grow, and enjoy their time in the studio and cheering them on throughout their dance journey!
Outside of dance, Paige enjoys going on bike rides, spending time with her friends, babysitting, and activities with her church’s youth group.
